Mobile Settings

Mobile Settings controls how job information is displayed on the Appello mobile app. Administrators can customize which fields appear on the mobile job detail screen and in what order.

Overview​

Mobile Settings — configuration for mobile app features, clock-in/out, and field worker options

Layout Builder​

The page is a drag-and-drop interface similar to Property Settings, but specifically for the mobile app's Job Info Layout.

Layout Sections (left panel)​

Defines what field workers see when they open a job on the mobile app.

Each field in the layout is tagged with:

  • Default — included in the layout by default.
  • Required — must be filled in (highlighted in red).

Fields can be reordered by dragging.

Create Section — add a new collapsible section to the mobile layout.

Collapse Sections toggle — control whether sections start collapsed or expanded on mobile.

Available Attributes (right panel)​

Fields not currently in the mobile layout. Drag them into a section to make them visible to field workers.

Examples of available attributes include: % Complete, Actual End Date, Actual Start Date, Division, Forecasted End Date, Geofence Radius, Hold Back Percent, Industry Category, Job Contact, Job Number, Job P.O Numbers, and more.

Tips​

  • Keep the mobile layout focused — field workers need quick access to essential job information, not every field.
  • Required fields ensure data completeness from the field without relying on office staff to fill gaps.
