Overview
The Equipment page lists all registered equipment organized by category. Each row shows the equipment name, category, status, and current assignment.
Equipment Fields

| Name | Equipment identifier (e.g., "Scissor Lift #3") |
| Category | Equipment type (Vehicles, Power Tools, Scaffolding, Safety Equipment, etc.) |
| Description | Additional details |
| Status | Available, In Use, Under Maintenance, Retired |
| Serial Number | Manufacturer serial number |
| Make / Model | Manufacturer and model |
| Year | Year of manufacture |
| Purchase Date | When the equipment was acquired |
| Purchase Price | Original cost |
| In-Service Date | When the equipment entered active use |
Equipment Categories
Equipment is organized by category. Common categories for ICI mechanical contractors:

| Scaffolding | Baker scaffolds, system scaffolds, planks |

| Insulation Tools | Pin guns, banding tools, metal brakes |

Assigning to Jobs
Equipment can be assigned to specific jobs for scheduling visibility. When assigned, it appears on the job's resource list.
